"And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ." - Acts 5:42
The early Christian Church had its origins with people gathering in small groups: meeting in people's homes, breaking bread together, offering hope and mutual support in the name of Christ. A small group provides a great environment for growth and transformation that Jesus intended for every believer.
Several Home groups meet Sundays or Tuesdays in someone's home for sermon discussion or Bible study (depending on the group). These weekly gatherings provide an opportunity to dig further into the week's sermon or study the Bible, pray, and fellowship. At Christ Community Church our home groups focus on connecting people relationally for the purpose of loving one another, growing in Christ, and doing our part to serve and minister to each other in name of the Lord.
