Emmanuel Haqq | Senior Pastor
Pastor Haqq, who has a Ph.D. in physics, came to this area to teach and do research in physics at UMass. He became part of planting a church body at Dwight Chapel and, after a period of training, was ordained by the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. He has served as pastor for over 30 years in teaching, preaching and sharing his faith as a pastor and a physicist both here and abroad. He and his wife Jill have four adult children and make their home in Belchertown, MA.
Jim Bishop | Pastor of Discipleship
Jim oversees our small groups and the visitor center. He’s due to complete a master’s degree in religion at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 2019 and has been leading small groups for over 30 years. He and his wife Deb have three adult children and five grandchildren.
Jackie helps with many of the administrative duties, paperwork, paying bills but is also blessed to be able to help organize ministries and be in contact with many members of the church.
Pat has been helping in the church office since August of 2012. She and her husband, Warren, are members and have attended since September, 2009.
Mary Ann Brennan
Mary Ann is our events coordinator. She helps coordinate the decorations and other supplies necessary to host any event.
George is our resident handy man. He’s always willing to help with minor repairs around the church.
Becky keeps the church looking spiffy week by week. She works hard to keep the church tidy and neat for the various events and services we have throughout the year.
Roberto serves in our media ministries. He works on our website, social media and any additional techy needs within the church.
