Welcome Letter from our Pastor
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Christ Community Church. Join us as we learn the joy of knowing and following the Lord Jesus Christ. If Jesus were just a figure in history my preaching would be a lecture on philosophy or a history lesson about Jesus. But we believe that Jesus conquered death and is alive today and it is possible to know Him and experience His love and friendship. Jesus said,
"Come to me, all of you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest! Put on my yoke and learn from me. For I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your soul." (Matthew 11:28-29)
Have you experienced the joy of this promise? I invite you to use one of the many opportunities we have at Christ Community Church to study the Bible and 'learn from Jesus.' If you're looking for a place to fellowship with others who love Jesus, come and join us. If you're skeptical about the joys of knowing Jesus, come and investigate. Either way, we would love to meet you and get to know you.
In Christ,
Pastor Emmanuel Haqq
